The ABH (Abfallbehandlung Horgen), situated on the western shore of Lake Zurich, is a single-line Waste-to-Energy plant serving the communities of the Zweckverband Entsorgung und Infrastruktur Zimmerberg (EIZ).

Commissioned in 1977, the plant has been regularly upgraded to maintain its environmental performance and energy recovery capability. The plant provides district heating to households in its immediate vicinity, contributing to the local carbon-reduced energy supply.
