The KVA Limmattal in Dietikon is a two-line waste-to-energy plant serving the greater Limmattal area spanning the cantons of Zürich and Aargau. Commissioned in 1975 and substantially modernised over the decades, the plant generates electricity fed into the regional grid and provides district heat to local consumers.
