The ICTR (Impianto Cantonale di Termovalorizzazione dei Rifiuti) in Giubiasco is the primary waste-to-energy facility for Canton Ticino and the entire Italian-speaking region of Switzerland.

Operated by ACR (Azienda Cantonale dei Rifiuti), the modern two-line plant features a high installed electrical capacity of 67 MW and represents the latest generation of Swiss waste incineration technology.
