On Wednesday, 10 September, the Royal Castle in Warsaw, Poland, hosted the awards ceremony for the “Modernisation of the Year & Construction of the 21st Century” competition. Port Czystej Energii received the award in the category of “Environmental Protection Facilities”, the company announced. This recognition places the facility among the most notable achievements in Poland’s environmental infrastructure sector.
This year’s edition of the competition saw 535 projects submitted, with 60 advancing to the final round. Among these, three originated from Gdańsk: the modernisation of the Maritime Port of Gdańsk S.A. area, the Library in Stogi, and Port Czystej Energii. The jury, comprising representatives from universities, ministries, and industry institutions, evaluated the finalists.
